YOUTH MEMBERSHIP

  • I am 17 years old or younger
  • I would like to compete at USAWEA recognized competitions
  • I would like to be eligible for High Point Awards, Regional, and National Championships
  • I would like my horse to earn lifetime points and be eligible for awards
  • I am interested in participating in programs with riders my own age
  • I want to continue to learn about working equitation and expand my horsemanship
  • I want the full benefits of a youth membership

ADULT MEMBERSHIP

  • I am 18 years old or older
  • I would like to compete at USAWEA recognized competitions
  • I would like to be eligible for Year-end High Point Awards, Lifetime Awards programs, Local, State, Regional, National Championships
  • I would like my horse to earn lifetime points and be eligible for awards
  • I want to continue to learn about working equitation and expand my horsemanship
  • I am interested in participating in fun adult programs
  • I want the full benefits of a competing membership

ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP

  • My business owns a horse that is competing at USAWEA recognized competitions
  • I  would like my business to be connected with the Working Equitation Community
  • I do not compete, but would like to help support the US Working Equitation Association.
  • I do not compete, but would like to be a recognized judge for USAWEA.
  • I would like to receive the benefits specific to business members, such as web links, advertising discounts and sponsorship opportunities.

LIFETIME MEMBERSHIP

  • I am 18 years old or older
  • I don’t want to worry about renewals every year
  • I want to take advantage of current lower membership fees then will be in the future
  • I would like to compete at USAWEA recognized competitions
  • I would like to be eligible for Year-end High Point Awards, Lifetime Awards programs, Local, State, Regional, National and possibly International Championships
  • I would like my horse to earn lifetime points and be eligible for awards.
  • I want to continue to learn about working equitation and expand my horsemanship.
  • I am interested in participating in fun adult programs.
  • I want the full benefits of a competing membership.

HORSE IDENTIFICATION NUMBER:

  • USAWEA Horse Identification Number (HIN)
  • The HIN is the minimum registration requirement for horses competing at recognized competitions.
  • Every mebership comes with one free 'Primary horse ID tracking number, additional horses incure a one time $25.00 registration fee.
  • As a onetime lifetime tracking number for each horse, the HIN number does not need to be renewed annually.
  • HIN registration applications maybe faxed, mailed or submitted online.
  • All horse breeds as well as donkeys, mules and ponies are welcome to join USAWEA. If your animal is registered with a breed registry, please submit a copy of the breed registry papers so that pedigree and breeder information can be recorded and allow your horse to be eligible for Breed specific awards (Breed awards must be signed up for separately)
  • If you purchase a horse already registered with USAWEA, please review the transfer of Horse Identification Number instructions.
